Who we are

As streaming conquered the world, our passion grew in the places where film history was still tangible: at flea markets, in archives, on dusty shelves full of treasures just waiting to be rediscovered. From this enthusiasm for physical formats, mafobeso was born – a place for everyone who wants to not only watch films, but experience, collect, and preserve them. Today, you'll find here exactly what digital platforms can't offer: character, tactility, nostalgia, and the unmistakable feeling of holding a genuine piece of film history in your hands.

We believe in what made film great: in formats that defined an era – VHS , DVD , Blu-ray , 35mm, 16mm, Super 8 , or Laserdisc . In classics that each new generation rediscovers. Inrarities just waiting to take their place in your collection. Our selection is intentionally diverse: from cult films of the '80s and '90s to arthouse discoveries, restored gems, and limited special editions. Whether you're a cinephile, a nostalgist, or a collector – with us, you'll find the pieces that others think are long gone.

We are particularly proud of our analog treasures: VHS tapes , Super 8 reels , and film formats that are now only cultivated by true enthusiasts. We hunt them down for you worldwide at flea markets, in private collections, and archives – each one carefully selected, checked, and shipped securely.

    Je mehr Streaming die Welt eroberte, wuchs unsere Leidenschaft dort, wo Filmgeschichte noch greifbar war: auf Flohmärkten, in Archiven, in verstaubten Regalen voller Schätze, die nur darauf warteten, wiederentdeckt zu werden. Aus dieser Begeisterung für physische Formate entstand mafobeso - ein Ort für alle, die Filme nicht nur anschauen, sondern erleben, sammeln und bewahren wollen. Heute findest du hier genau das, was digitale Plattformen nicht bieten können: Charakter, Haptik, Nostalgie und das unverwechselbare Gefühl, ein echtes Stück Filmgeschichte in den Händen zu halten.
