Who we are
As streaming increasingly conquered the world, our passion grew in places where film history was still tangible: in flea markets, archives, and dusty shelves full of treasures just waiting to be rediscovered. From this enthusiasm for physical formats, mafobeso was born – a place for all who want not just to watch films, but to experience, collect, and preserve them. Today, you'll find exactly what digital platforms cannot offer: character, haptics, nostalgia, and the unmistakable feeling of holding a real piece of film history in your hands.
Uncompromising Film Passion - on VHS, DVD, or Laserdisc
We believe in what made cinema great: Formats that shaped an era - VHS, DVD, Blu-ray, 35 mm, 16 mm, Super 8 or Laserdisc. In classics that each generation rediscovers. In rarities just waiting to find their place in your collection. Our selection is intentionally diverse: from cult films of the 80s and 90s to arthouse discoveries, restored gems, and limited special editions. Whether you're a cinephile, a nostalgic, or a collector - you'll find the pieces with us that others consider long out of print.
All Genres, All Formats
We set no limits – neither in genre nor format. Horror, sci-fi, arthouse, family cinema, or indie classics: our assortment grows hand in hand with the community that loves these formats. We are especially proud of our analog treasures: VHS tapes, Super 8 reels, and film formats that today only true enthusiasts cultivate. We hunt them down for you worldwide at flea markets, in private collections, and archives – each piece selected, inspected, and securely shipped.
More than just film
We connect collectors, culture enthusiasts, and film fans across formats and generations. This makes mafobeso more than just a shop: it's a community for everyone who loves cinema.
