Anthony Stoner, an unemployed, pot-smoking slacker and amateur drummer, leaves his strict parents and sets off on a journey where he eventually meets his soulmate, Pedro de Pacas. The drug-using duo are soon arrested for marijuana possession, but Anthony and Pedro are released on a technicality, allowing them to continue their numerous misadventures and eventually enter a rock band competition, where they perform the raw song "Earache My Eye."
