In this action comedy, French boxer Jo Cavalier, on a train to Berlin for the Olympic Games in Hitler's Germany, is charmed by a young boy named Simon Rosenblum, who asks for his autograph. When it turns out that his adorable young fan is a Jewish orphan boy threatened with persecution, he risks his only chance at Olympic glory to save Simon and his family. Aided only by a German officer who became his friend during World War I, he embarks on a perilous escape to Switzerland, pursued by Nazi troops and overcoming seemingly insurmountable obstacles.
