Following a workplace shooting in New Orleans, a trial against a gun manufacturer ensues, pitting attorney Wendell Rohr against the shady jury consultant Rankin Fitch, who uses illegal means to ensure the jury is composed of jurors sympathetic to the defense. However, when juror Nicholas Easter and his girlfriend Marlee reveal their ability to influence the jury to achieve any desired verdict, a high-stakes game of cat and mouse begins.
