Jessie is an aging career criminal who has experienced more prisons, fights, intrigues, and lineups than almost anyone else. His son Vito, currently on the straight and narrow, has a rather shady past and is certainly no stranger to illegal activities. Both place great hopes in Adam, Vito's son and Jessie's grandson, who is intelligent, handsome, and has no criminal record.
