Bronson and Marvin play two murderous half-brothers on the run from both the law and each other. A dramatic confrontation shows each of them just how vile the other can be. "The Meanest Men in the West" is actually a compilation of two episodes from the hit 1960s TV series "The Virginian." In one episode, a wealthy man's daughter is kidnapped by a vicious gunman. However, the crime is merely a means for the villain to involve the tough title character in a bloodthirsty revenge plot. In the second episode, a tramp breaks into the Shiloh Ranch. A troubled young girl then relies on the man to help her escape from home.
