Insect on video cassette

While working in a greenhouse, a man is stung by an insect after touching an exotic plant. He immediately falls ill and is rushed to the emergency room, where doctors diagnose him with an unknown bacterium and a strange parasite that emerges from his mouth as a large, slimy, worm-like creature. Soon, there are more cases of bacterial infections, but the more immediate problem for the hospital is the worm-like creature, which, after accidental contact with a genetic growth stimulant, grows to monstrous proportions and begins a reign of terror and bloodshed in the hospital's deserted wing.
