Edgar organizes a salon on the topic of sexuality and arranges for Faldo's luxurious estate to be used as the venue. Given the overwhelming brilliance of the assembled luminaries, Edgar hires two attractive stenographers to transcribe their intellectual discussions. However, as the conversation progresses, the stenographers find it increasingly difficult to remain detached observers.
