Jarhead - Welcome to the Scum on DVD

Jarhead is a film about the experiences of U.S. Marine Anthony Swofford during the Gulf War. After a grueling boot camp, Swofford and his unit are deployed to the Persian Gulf, where they are prepared for combat but must stay out of the fighting. Swofford struggles with the idea that his girlfriend is cheating on him, and as his mental state deteriorates, his urge to kill grows.
