Plot: This documentary is about martial arts, their beauty and deadly potential, their history and their status today. It is also about their place in a modern society whose escalating crime rate and violence make the knowledge of self-defense a necessity for more and more people, especially women. The viewer is confronted with a number of top-class martial artists. Fifteen top fighters from the fields of karate, kung fu, jujitsu, kendo, tai chi chuan and classical oriental weapon arts pay homage to the master of all time, Bruce Lee. Their skills are brought to life before the scrutinizing eye of the film camera, which deals with the Americanization of these arts. The masters not only show their deadly skills, but also speak honestly about themselves and their mystical, spiritual and philosophical thoughts about the ancient art of self-defense.
