Las Vegas showroom magician Cris Johnson harbors a tormenting secret: he can see several minutes into the future. Fed up with the tests he underwent as a child and the government and medical institutions' interest in his ability, he lives under an assumed name in Las Vegas, performing cheap tricks and surviving on small gambling "winnings." But when a terrorist group threatens to detonate a nuclear bomb in Los Angeles, government agent Callie Ferris must use all her cunning to capture Cris and convince him to help her prevent the catastrophe.
