Plot: After a ten-year absence, Severino returns to his tribe, the Manzeneros, who live on the edge of the Argentine Andes. The reason for his visit is that he wants to take his younger brother with him to the north. However, Severino finds a tense and turbulent situation in his home village. His father Raymundo was recently found dead. He was on the trail of a gang of white bandits who had stolen cattle from both Indians and settlers. A sheep farming company is behind these criminal activities. This company is trying to drive the Indians and settlers off the fertile land in order to buy it cheaply.
