Chris’ Soundtrack Corner presents for the first time the complete soundtrack to CAVE OF THE SHARKS (1978), a supernatural thriller by Tonino Ricci. The music by Stelvio Cipriani is considered one of his most melodic and atmospherically dense works.

The film is part of an unofficial Bermuda Triangle trilogy, which also includes Il triangolo delle Bermude and Incontri nel profondo – all scored by Cipriani. His composition combines exotic soundscapes, lounge elements, and eerie soundscapes into a unique listening experience.

The central theme "Magic Dawn" is stylistically reminiscent of great names such as Ennio Morricone or Antônio Carlos Jobim, while the romantic motif "Angelica" underlines the tropical atmosphere of the film. The score is complemented by dark, experimental passages for the underwater and mystery scenes – comparable to the works of John Barry (Thunderball).

This extended CD edition offers for the first time the complete soundtrack with approximately 26 minutes of previously unreleased material. Also included are extensive liner notes by John Bender – a highlight for collectors, fans of classic film music, and lovers of Italian genre scores from the 70s.
