In 1250 BC, during the late Bronze Age, two emerging nations begin to fight each other. Paris, the Trojan prince, persuades Helen, Queen of Sparta, to leave her husband Menelaus and sail with him to Troy. When Menelaus learns that his wife has been kidnapped by the Trojans, he asks his brother Agamemnon to help him retrieve her. Agamemnon sees this as an opportunity to seize power. They set out for Troy with 1,000 ships and 50,000 Greeks.
