Dr. Jack Hammond has the best chance of becoming the clinic's medical director. Therefore, he is completely absorbed in his work and has no understanding of his teenage son Chris's school problems. By chance, one of them drinks a serum that swaps brains, and they exchange identities. This naturally leads to extraordinary complications at school and work, but also to insights into each other's problems and feelings.
