Shortly before the outbreak of World War II, the spirited New Yorker Linda Voss begins working for Ed Leland, an international lawyer and secret agent of the Office of Strategic Services. As the two fall in love, the United States enters the war against Hitler, and Linda volunteers to work undercover for Ed behind enemy lines. Linda is tasked with gathering information about a German bomb, but she also has a personal motive: to uncover the fate of her Jewish family members in Berlin.
