Ben Campbell is a young, highly intelligent student at MIT, driven by ambition. He hopes to secure a scholarship to Harvard Medical School and become a doctor, but discovers he cannot afford the $300,000 tuition fee, coming from a poor working-class family. However, one evening, Ben is introduced by his unorthodox math professor to a small, secret club of five students: Jill, Choi, Kianna, and Fisher, who are being taught by Professor Rosa how to count cards at blackjack.
