A small, old British village is still resisting the Roman invaders. Asterix and Obelix are asked for help. They have to contend with fog, rain, warm beer, and boiled wild boar with mint sauce, but soon the Romans, under Governor Encyclopaedius Britannicus, are in retreat and defeated. That is, until they fall into the water during a wild chase for a barrel of magic potion.
