Plot: A Carthusian monk who has devoted himself to silence and meditation for 25 years must travel from France to Jakarta to get a signature for the renewal of his monastery's lease. Fearful of his experiences on the plane, he gets off at the first stop in New Delhi and immerses himself in the strange world outside his monastery walls.
