A young European man living in San Francisco hesitates to marry his longtime girlfriend because he wants to travel the world first. His wealthy uncle agrees to take him on his ship, but en route, the young man and his travel companion are shipwrecked on a remote island inhabited by countless prehistoric creatures and gold-hungry bandits.
