After following his dying father's advice, Hal only dates the embodiments of female physical perfection. But that changes when Hal unexpectedly meets self-help guru Tony Robbins. Robbins, fascinated by Hal's superficiality, hypnotizes him to see the beauty that lies in even the most physically unattractive women. Hal soon falls in love with Rosemary, but doesn't realize that his gorgeous girlfriend is actually a 300-pound, not-so-hot woman.
