Rose, a desperate mother, brings her adopted daughter Sharon to the town of Silent Hill in hopes of curing her illness. After a horrific car accident, Sharon disappears, and Rose embarks on a frantic search to find her. She is drawn into the twisted reality of the town's terrible secrets. Pursued by grotesquely deformed creatures and townspeople trapped in a perpetual purgatory, Rose begins to uncover the truth behind the apocalyptic catastrophe that devastated the town 30 years prior.
