A group of Mexicans discovers that their land claims in the United States have been rejected and all the documents destroyed in a fire at the courthouse. Their leader, Louis Chama, encourages them to reclaim their land by force. A wealthy landowner, who wants the same thing, decides to hire a gang of assassins, led by Joe Kidd, to pursue Chama.
