In the bloody chaos of the Vietnam War, a troop of young Americans is dropped by helicopter deep into enemy territory. Their task is to scout a new supply route for the advancing troops and ultimately secure a strategically important river crossing.
But what initially appears to be a normal mission quickly turns into a fight for survival.
Far outnumbered, the brave GIs are repeatedly ambushed by the Viet Cong, and the bloody reality of the green hell reveals itself in all its cruelty.
The courage of each of them is put to the test, and only as a team does there stand any chance of escaping the deadly cocktail of grenades, mines, and boobie traps...
