A group of hikers led by a college professor searches the woods for an ancient Native American burial mound. When they discover a likely site, three members of the group reveal themselves to be grave robbers and tie up the others to keep the valuable artifacts for themselves. While looting the mound, one of them stumbles upon a cursed crown that unleashes the mound's guardian: an invisible monster that attacks anyone it finds. Will anyone make it back to civilization alive?
