The adventures of two likeable, aimless metalhead friends, Wayne and Garth. From Wayne's basement, the two broadcast a talk show called "Wayne's World" on local public television. The show attracts the attention of a sleazy television executive who wants to produce a big-budget version of "Wayne's World"—and also Wayne's girlfriend, a rock singer named Cassandra. Wayne and Garth must fight the executive to save not only their show, but also Cassandra.
